Where are faculty and staff vacancy announcements located?

All LCCC employment opportunities are posted in-house on the bulletin board outside of room AD 132 (Duplicating/Mail Center). Open positions can also be located on the Job Opportunities page of our website.

How do I apply for a job?

Clerical, Full-Time Faculty, Maintenance, Custodial, or Administrative Positions

Candidates applying for clerical, full-time faculty, maintenance, custodial, or administrative positions should submit a cover letter, resume, and three professional references (name and contact information) by clicking on the position on the Job Opportunities webpage.

Part-Time Faculty Positions (adjuncts)

Resumes for part-time faculty positions (adjuncts) should be addressed to the Associate Academic Dean. Send cover letter, resume, three references, and unofficial copies of undergraduate and graduate transcripts by:

What credentials or clearances are required?

Administrative positions may require an Associate degree or higher; clerical positions may require high school diploma or an Associate degree; maintenance and custodial openings require a high school diploma, full-time faculty positions require a Master’s degree, Doctorate preferred. Adjunct instructors are required to have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 18 graduate credits in the specific discipline in which they want to teach.

Effective May 1, 2015, all new employees must provide copies of their background clearances (Act 34 PA Criminal Background, Act 151 PA Child Abuse History, and Act 114 FBI Fingerprint for the PA Dept of Education) when hired. See our Clearance Information Sheet.

How do I know you received my resume?

All candidates applying for open vacancies (except adjunct positions) through the job opportunities link will receive an automated response stating that your resume has been received. Candidates for adjunct positions will receive a post card or an e-mail from the Associate Academic Dean verifying receipt of your resume.
